Goal calculator
Fill in the two sections below. Everything under them is worked out from what you put in.
1Your waitlist
2Your numbers
Early access day
The same whichever goal you are chasing, because it only depends on your waitlist.
What a bigger waitlist is worth
Your own numbers against your realistic goal.
How to read it
Move your waitlist number up until the rest of the sale stops looking impossible. That is your waitlist target, and it is the number everything in the pop-up and lead magnet lesson is working towards.
The rest of the sale comes from your existing list over the remaining days. If that figure is bigger than anything your list has ever done in two weeks, the goal is not realistic yet or the waitlist needs to be much larger.
Two average order values, because early access often is not the same offer. If you are putting a bundle or a bigger spend behind those 24 hours, that number goes up and early access covers more of your goal off the same waitlist.
Your goal is net sales, the money that lands after the discount comes off, so put both average order values in the same way. An order you would normally call $85 is worth $68 to you at 20% off.
What you keep is the part most people skip. A 20% discount on a 60% margin does not leave you 40%. It leaves you 50% of a smaller number, and the calculator does that maths for you.
Before you use these numbers
This is a planning tool, not a guarantee. It works off the numbers you put in and a few simple assumptions, so it shows you what is possible, not what will happen. Every business is different, and your results will depend on your list, your offer, your products and your market.
What you keep is gross profit on product cost only. It does not include shipping, transaction and platform fees, advertising, packaging, labour, or anything else it costs to run your business. Your actual profit will be lower.
Use it to sense check a goal and to see what a waitlist is worth. Do not commit money against any figure here.
